We all know that all outdoor work generally happens in the warmer months, but winter time can be a great time to evaluate your garden in terms of landscaping and hardscaping because the greenery is not there to distract you. Look out the window. How does it look with a little sprinkle of snow? Are there levels and focal points that keep your eye moving around? Perhaps a piece of statuary here and a raised garden bed there could really tie things together. Also your planting containers could be dressed up with some evergreen branches, while holiday lights around a tree trunk will make for a nice scene to find outside of the window at night. Here are a few pictures we like of outdoor spaces in the winter.
